Your body has been speaking the whole time. The Listening is where you learn to read what it's been saying.
For the body that has been waiting for the conversation to switch direction. This is the second instrument.
You've done the thinking. The body still has the next chapter.
Each session builds on the last. You start with safety. You end with a practice you can keep.
Honesty up front about what's hard, what's not, and what The Listening actually is.
Most people can't feel much below their neck. That isn't a sign of being broken. It's a sign of having lived in your head for a long time. You'll be supported through it.
Things surface. Old tension that hadn't moved. Emotion attached to nothing you can name. This is the work, and it's the part where most one-off workshops leave you. The group holds it, and the science backs it up: one regulated nervous system settles the others. That's polyvagal, not metaphor. The next session integrates what surfaced.
The same body that felt blank in session one usually has plenty to say. The practice is yours. The skill stays with you.
The work is somatic. The frame is nervous system. The voice is mine.
I'm Faith Lantz, a somatic wellness practitioner based in Central, Hong Kong. I'm a certified Biodynamic and Upledger Craniosacral Therapist, a certified Rebirthing Breathwork practitioner, and I'm completing a 3-year professional training in Somatic Experiencing, the body-based trauma approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine.
I run a private practice in Central, Hong Kong. The people who find their way to me are ready to work at the level of the body. The Listening draws on interoception research and the body-based trauma work of Bessel van der Kolk, Stephen Porges, and Gabor Maté — the science of what it takes for a body to feel safe enough to be read.
The Listening is the work I wish someone had handed me ten years ago. The thing under the other things. Where the lasting shift lives.
