Brain with botanical vines — the nervous system and its faithful record

You understand yourself. In words, in therapy rooms, in books. And your body keeps responding the same way it always has.

ii
Mirrored arcing lines — the ribcage, the held breath, the body braced

Your nervous system has been keeping its own record. Everything you have lived, held in the tissue.Understanding is in one room of you. The pattern is in another. They have never properly met.

iii
A woman dissolving into botanical vines — the body releasing what it has held

Around ninety minutes in, the body meets a different kind of request. Not a sign that something is wrong. A sign that something is moving. You will be held through it.

What the Body Holds is where knowing and feeling finally share the same room. The teaching and the practice and the rest, layered so each one feeds the next. By the end, you are inside it.

The work, in plain language

A 3.5-hour somatic immersion in Central, Hong Kong.

Understanding lives in one room of you. The pattern lives in another. They have never been in the same place at the same time, with the right amount of safety and the right kind of attention. What the Body Holds is where that meeting happens.

The half-day is built in five phases, each one making the next possible. You arrive, you learn the language of your own nervous system from the inside, you do the work, you rest in it, and you leave with something that belongs to you.

People describe leaving with shoulders they forgot they could drop. A nervous system that knows how to settle. A felt understanding, not a conceptual one. The kind that stays.

How the afternoon unfolds

Five phases. Each one makes the next possible.

3.5 hours, layered with intention. What happens in the first thirty minutes makes the third hour possible.

01
Arrival and grounding 30 minutes

Orienting to the room. Body scan. Consent. The map of the afternoon so you know exactly where you are going and why.

Most participants describe the body knowing the room by the end of this phase.

02
The teaching 45 minutes

How the nervous system holds what we override. What a felt sense is. The language of the body. Not a lecture. Embodied teaching, the kind that lands in tissue while it lands in the head.

Most participants describe a framework they can feel, not just understand.

03
The practice 90 minutes

The guided somatic process, with breathwork, nervous system tracking, and full support throughout. This is the part the afternoon is built around. Nothing will be asked of you that the morning hasn't already prepared you for.

Most participants describe a felt experience of their own nervous system settling.

04
Integration 20 minutes

Rest. Stillness. A journaling prompt to anchor what just happened. Most workshops skip this phase. The body needs time to absorb the work. We don't skip it.

Most participants describe the work landing in the body during this phase.

05
Sharing circle and close 25 minutes

Witnessed sharing with no advice, just presence. The Mission Accomplished moment. And a quiet door: what is available next if this is the conversation you want to continue.

Most participants describe a clear sense of what they are taking with them.

The investment

What you walk out with.

Not a workshop you remember intellectually. A working relationship with the body you live in.

In their words
"Although I had already invested deeply in my own healing through talk therapy, meditation, personal development workshops, life coaching, and fitness, I still felt like there was something I couldn't quite break through. Even in my first session with Faith, my body softened in what felt like the first time. My mind quieted, and I was finally able to release emotions I didn't realise I had been carrying for so long."

Faith Lantz, craniosacral and somatic therapist, Central Hong Kong

I came to this work through my own body.

I am Faith Lantz. A few days after my first craniosacral session, I noticed my breathing had changed. Slower. Something in my chest that had been holding had let go. I could not explain how that was possible from lying clothed on a table while someone rested their hands lightly near my head.

I needed to understand how that was possible, so I trained in it. The more I learned, the more I recognised it in the people around me: capable, self-aware people who were tired, not for lack of trying, but because they were trying in the only direction they knew. The body is another direction entirely.

What the Body Holds is the half-day I built for people who are ready to meet what they have been carrying.
