A gestural line drawing of two hands gently cradling space — the craniosacral hold

Your body holds an intelligence older than thought.A record written into the nervous system, into every layer of tissue.

ii
Mirrored arcing lines — the ribcage, the held breath

What the body braced to protect, the fascia goes on holding. In time, the holding begins to speak.A contraction the body cannot explain.

A woman dissolving into botanical vines and open flowers — the body releasing into the tide

Beneath thought, a slow tide moves through you, steady and unforced. This is the body's own wisdom, knowing in its own time when it is safe to soften and let go.

My work is to help your body release what it has been holding

My work is to help your body release what it has been holding. At its own pace, with light hands. I listen to that intelligence, and follow what it is ready to let go of.

The work, in plain language

This is craniosacral and somatic therapy in Central and Discovery Bay, Hong Kong.

I place my hands on the body and listen: to where the system is expressing and where it isn't, what it's holding, what it's organising around. The touch is light. From there, I create the conditions for the body to let go of what it's been carrying.

People come with tension that keeps returning, pain they want to clear, sleep that doesn't restore, emotions the body hasn't been able to move through, a stress response that hasn't quieted in years. All of it lives in the nervous system, in the fascia, in tissue that talking doesn't tend to reach.

The body holds things. Not just physically: experiences that froze, patterns the system organised around a long time ago and never moved through. All of it stays somewhere in the tissue, and that's what this work reaches.

People who do this work describe sleep that finally restores them. A jaw they forgot they were clenching. A stress response that isn't running in the background of everything. A quality of rest they hadn't known was possible. Most clients notice something in their very first session. Not dramatic, but real. Like something that has been running quietly, for a very long time, finally pauses.

Sessions

How we might work together.

Each offering works with the body directly. If you've never done bodywork before, or if you're not sure what you're carrying, that's exactly where this begins.

Faith Lantz, craniosacral and somatic therapist, Central Hong Kong

I came to this work through my own body.

I am Faith Lantz. After my third craniosacral session, I noticed a quiet I had never felt before. I know now that my nervous system had, for the first time, stepped out of chronic fight-or-flight. Something in my chest had let go. I needed to understand how that was possible, so I trained in it. The more I learned, the clearer something became: my gift with people runs through the body. A two-and-a-half-year programme in Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, Upledger training alongside it, a three-year Somatic Experiencing programme I am currently in, and certification in Rebirthing Breathwork. All of it works with the same thing: the nervous system, held in the body. I see this in almost everyone who comes: capable, self-aware, and tired not for lack of trying, but because they have been trying in the only direction they knew. The body is another direction entirely.

Common questions

You lie fully clothed on a treatment table. I place my hands on the body, usually starting at the feet or head, and listen. I track where the system is expressing and where it is not. The touch is very light. Sessions last 75 minutes. Most people feel a deep stillness they rarely access, and notice something has shifted by the time they leave.

Not at all. Many clients come with no bodywork experience. The intake process gives us time to talk through what you are carrying and what you want from the work. The session itself is gentle, and you are in control throughout.

There is no fixed answer, and I will never push a long commitment on you. Some people come for one session and find it enough. Others work with me over several months as something deeper unwinds. Most clients notice something real in their first session. From there, we go at the pace that fits your body and your life.

This is exactly the situation most clients come from. Years of insight, real growth, and still something that does not quite shift. Craniosacral and somatic work reaches the nervous system and fascia: the places where experiences are stored that talking does not tend to access. The two kinds of work complement each other; this one often reaches what the other could not.

Yes. Soma Speak is an online session: 60 minutes working with awareness, breath, and the body's own signals. It is a good place to start if you want to explore this work before coming in person, or if distance makes in-person sessions difficult right now.
