This is held, personal, somatic work. Just you and Faith. Designed specifically for mothers whose entry into motherhood still feels overwhelming in their body.

This program is not a substitute for medical treatment, psychiatric care, or psychotherapy. If you are in active crisis or need clinical mental health support, please work with a licensed professional first. The MotherBody Reclamation is complementary somatic work. It works at the level of the nervous system and tissue, in the places that language does not reach.

Weeks 1 to 3 · 3 Sessions
The Rooting
You will build the internal resources you can anchor to and return to in order to ground yourself and feel safe. Positive memories, body awareness of what actually feels good, and learning how to access these resources for yourself.
By the end: Many clients find they can identify and access their personal safe harbor, orient to the present moment when overwhelmed, and establish an anchor practice that brings them back to a felt sense of calm.

Weeks 4 to 8 · 5 Sessions
The Unwinding
You will gently and safely begin to approach, process, and release the intensity held in your body from your birth experience. Through titrated, compassionate somatic work, you will learn to find the natural ebb and flow of your nervous system.
By the end: Many clients find they can approach the edges of their experience without becoming overwhelmed, release physical bracing and tension patterns, and trust their capacity to weather intensity and return to calm.

Weeks 9 to 10 · 2 Sessions
The Weaving
You will reclaim and reweave your birth narrative, moving it from a story that carries pain into one that holds your strength, resilience, and profound love. Without denying the difficulty or forcing positivity.
By the end: Many clients find they can tell their birth story in a way that feels true and empowering, with a growing sense of ownership and peace with their unique path into motherhood.

Weeks 11 to 12 · 2 Sessions
The Inhabiting
You will integrate everything you have learned and experienced into a sustainable way of being. Fully inhabiting your body, trusting your own rhythm, and completing your personalised set of MotherBody Reclamation Rituals.
By the end: Many clients report a growing trust in their body's wisdom, a complete set of personalised MotherBody Reclamation Rituals, and confidence in continuing this work independently.

I did not come to this work through textbooks. I came to it through my own body.

I have two boys. Both were born by emergency C-section. With my first, I developed pre-eclampsia. The births were medically necessary, and I am grateful my children are here. But for a long time after, my body did not feel like it belonged to me. Something was braced. Something had not settled. I looked fine. I functioned. But underneath, I was still in the operating room.

I tried the things you try. I talked about it. I understood it. I made sense of it. And I noticed something was still holding underneath all of that.

It was somatic work that reached the layer where all of that was stored. Working with the body itself. The tissue. The nervous system. The places where language does not go.

That experience changed everything for me. It is why I trained in this specific work. It is why I practice. And it is why I built The MotherBody Reclamation. This is where I practice: in that invisible layer. That is what I built this program to reach.

Because I know what it feels like to carry a birth in your body long after it is over. And I know what it feels like when that weight finally lifts.

The foundation of this work

What mothers experience

In craniosacral and somatic practice, many mothers share that they feel more at peace with what happened in their birth, with fewer looping "what if" thoughts and less self-blame. They describe a renewed sense of connection with their children and with their own lives, and a feeling that their body is no longer stuck in constant survival mode.

Training and approach

Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and somatic practitioner with multi-year training focused on the nervous system, trauma, and deep restorative work. Student of Somatic Experiencing. Grounded in trauma physiology, informed by the teachings of Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Stephen Porges, and Bessel van der Kolk. Ongoing postgraduate training, supervision, and personal practice each year.

Who I am beyond the training

A mixed-heritage woman of Asian and African roots who grew up in Hong Kong, lived in Bali, and is married to a Swede. Naturally attuned to cultural nuance and the unspoken expectations around motherhood, achievement, and emotion in international communities. A mother of two boys who lived two very different, complicated pregnancies, births, and postpartum seasons. This combination helps high-functioning mothers feel seen, understood, and safely met in the complexity of their own path into motherhood.

Something that was held starts to move. That is the whole of it.

The 3-Session Promise

If after your first three sessions you feel that The MotherBody Reclamation is not the right fit for you, you may step away at that point and you will not be charged for the remaining sessions. No refunds for sessions already completed, as that time and care has been fully given.

This is not about forcing change or fixing yourself. It is about listening, pacing, and building trust with your body. If you show up, engage honestly, and stay in conversation with Faith, you cannot fail this work.
