Your birth is over. So why does your body still feel like it's not?
The tension in your chest. The way your breath catches when someone asks about the birth. The constant low hum of being on edge, even when your baby is safe, fed, sleeping. You are not imagining it. Your body is still holding what happened.

You have tried to move past it. And your body is still holding what happened.
You understand what happened. You've made sense of it. You can explain exactly why you respond the way you do. And your body is still holding it.
Medically, you've been cleared. You've talked about it, understood it, made sense of it. And your body is still braced. Because the nervous system holds what happened at a level beneath the narrative, below language, in the tissue and the survival response that didn't get to complete.
The pattern still running in you lives underneath all of that. It lives in your nervous system, in your tissue, in the survival response that didn't get to complete. That is the invisible layer. And that is exactly where this program works.
The pattern does not live in your understanding of it. It lives in your nervous system, in your tissue, in the places that language does not reach.
The MotherBody Reclamation
Just you and Faith. One session per week. Gentle, paced, body-led.
This is held, personal, somatic work. Just you and Faith. Designed for mothers whose way into motherhood, whether through IVF, pregnancy or birth, still feels overwhelming in their body.
This is a holistic approach to the body. It sits alongside medical care, psychiatric care and psychotherapy, as a complement to them. If you're in crisis or need clinical support, please start with a licensed professional.
You have your own MotherBody Reclamation Rituals. Personalised practices you created during the program that you can return to any time life feels intense. Not a list of tips from the internet. Something that came from inside your own experience.
This is where The MotherBody Reclamation takes you. Here is how.
Each module builds on the last. You start with safety. You end with freedom. Nothing is rushed.
Weeks 1 to 3 · 3 sessions
You will build the internal resources you can anchor to and return to in order to ground yourself and feel safe. Positive memories, body awareness of what actually feels good, and learning how to access these resources for yourself.
By the end: Many clients find they can identify and access their personal safe harbor, orient to the present moment when overwhelmed, and establish an anchor practice that brings them back to a felt sense of calm.
Weeks 4 to 8 · 5 sessions
You will gently and safely begin to approach, process, and release the intensity held in your body from your birth experience. Through titrated, compassionate somatic work, you will learn to find the natural ebb and flow of your nervous system.
By the end: Many clients find they can approach the edges of their experience without becoming overwhelmed, release physical bracing and tension patterns, and trust their capacity to weather intensity and return to calm.
Weeks 9 to 10 · 2 sessions
You will reclaim and reweave your birth narrative, moving it from a story that carries pain into one that holds your strength, resilience, and profound love. Without denying the difficulty or forcing positivity.
By the end: Many clients find they can tell their birth story in a way that feels true and empowering, with a growing sense of ownership and peace with their unique path into motherhood.
Weeks 11 to 12 · 2 sessions
You will integrate everything you have learned and experienced into a sustainable way of being. Fully inhabiting your body, trusting your own rhythm, and completing your personalised set of MotherBody Reclamation Rituals.
By the end: Many clients report a growing trust in their body's wisdom, a complete set of personalised MotherBody Reclamation Rituals, and confidence in continuing this work independently.
Your body did something extraordinary. It grew a person. It brought that person into the world. And somewhere in the process, it picked up weight that it has not been able to put down.
Everything you receive
Twelve weeks of held, personal, body-led support. Every element is here so the work keeps moving between sessions, not only during them.
60 minutes each · Personalised guidance
These are not generic coaching calls. They are one-on-one sessions designed around your unique birth experience, your body's specific patterns, and the pace that feels right for you. Each week, Faith meets you exactly where you are, guiding you through gentle somatic practices that help your nervous system release what it has been holding. We go at your pace, and you are only asked for what you are ready for.
Watch, learn, and practice at your own pace
Between sessions, you will have access to video trainings that walk you through the core somatic practices of the program. Whether it is a grounding exercise to calm your nervous system at 2am or a gentle release practice during naptime, these videos let you revisit and reinforce what you are learning on your own schedule.
Clear, simple, and always within reach
No more trying to remember what Faith said or scrambling to take notes during your session. These PDFs capture the essential information, step-by-step instructions, and gentle reminders you need to stay on track. Print them, save them to your phone, or tuck them into your journal.
Capture what is shifting and watch yourself grow
The process is not always linear, and sometimes it is hard to see how far you have come when you are in the middle of it. Your digital progress journal gives you a dedicated space to record insights, track shifts in your body, and note the questions that arise between sessions. Faith will also use your reflections to personalise each session to exactly what you need.
A compassionate guide in your pocket
Healing does not pause between sessions, and neither does Faith's support. With WhatsApp access, you can send a voice memo when something comes up, ask a quick question, or simply share a win. Knowing that Faith is just a message away helps you feel held and supported throughout the week, not just during your scheduled calls. This is not a chatbot or an assistant. It is Faith.
Included with enrollment
Because the work continues between sessions. These libraries support you in the moments that matter most.
Bonus 1
A curated library of body-based practices designed to support regulation, grounding, and integration throughout the program. Practical ways to support your system between sessions, without forcing change or pushing through. When you feel activated. When you feel disconnected. When you simply want to come back into your body.
Bonus 2
A collection of guided meditations created specifically for nervous system safety rather than performance or self-improvement. They invite settling, presence, and listening. Short, accessible, and designed to be used in daily life, not only in quiet or ideal conditions. A gentle relationship with stillness, without the pressure to feel calm or get it right.
Bonus 3
A clear and compassionate teaching library that helps you understand how your nervous system works and why your experiences make sense. You are not broken. Your body is responding intelligently based on what it has lived through. This library supports trust in the process and a deeper sense of orientation as you move through the work.
Fast action bonus
For those who choose to enrol in the first round: an additional 1:1 closing session at the end of the 12 weeks. A dedicated space to reflect on what has shifted, to name what is now available, and to orient forward with clarity and steadiness.
The woman holding this space for you
I have two boys. Both were born by emergency C-section. With my first, I developed pre-eclampsia. The births were medically necessary, and I am grateful my children are here. But for a long time after, my body did not feel like it belonged to me. Something was braced. Something had not settled. I looked fine. I functioned. But underneath, I was still in the operating room.
I tried the things you try. I talked about it. I understood it. I made sense of it. And I noticed something was still holding underneath all of that.
It was somatic work that reached the layer where all of that was stored. Working with the body itself. The tissue. The nervous system. The places where language does not go.
That experience changed everything for me. It is why I trained in this specific work. It is why I practice. And it is why I built The MotherBody Reclamation. This is where I practice: in that invisible layer. That is what I built this program to reach.
Because I know what it feels like to carry a birth in your body long after it is over. And I know what it feels like when that weight finally lifts.
Background
In craniosacral and somatic practice, many mothers share that they feel more at peace with what happened in their birth, with fewer looping "what if" thoughts and less self-blame. They describe a renewed sense of connection with their children and with their own lives, and a feeling that their body is no longer stuck in constant survival mode.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist and somatic practitioner with multi-year training focused on the nervous system, trauma, and deep restorative work. Student of Somatic Experiencing. Grounded in trauma physiology, informed by the teachings of Peter Levine, Gabor Mate, Stephen Porges, and Bessel van der Kolk. Ongoing postgraduate training, supervision, and personal practice each year.
A mixed-heritage woman of Asian and African roots who grew up in Hong Kong, lived in Bali, and is married to a Swede. Naturally attuned to cultural nuance and the unspoken expectations around motherhood, achievement, and emotion in international communities. A mother of two boys who lived two very different, complicated pregnancies, births, and postpartum seasons. This combination helps high-functioning mothers feel seen, understood, and safely met in the complexity of their own path into motherhood.
Something that was held starts to move. That is the whole of it.
